Terms of Service

1. The service

Chupin provides web tools to create, edit, and publish a one-page work/resume site, export a PDF, and send the live page link and PDF to an email address you specify. Features may change. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

2. Accounts

• You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping sign-in methods secure (email codes, GitHub, etc.).
• Registration details should be accurate and usable.
• Notify us promptly of unauthorized use.

3. Your content

• You retain rights to content you submit.
• You grant us a license needed to run the service: host, process, display, generate previews and PDFs, serve published pages on public subdomains, and deliver mail when you use Send to email.
• You represent that you have the rights to submit and publish your content, and that it does not violate law or others’ rights.
• You decide what to publish; you are responsible for consequences of making content public.

4. Acceptable use

You may not:

• Use the service for illegal, fraudulent, harassing, or infringing activity;
• Upload malware or attempt unauthorized access or probing;
• Abuse multi-resume limits, mass-create pages for others, resell accounts, or circumvent paid limits;
• Use Send to email for bulk spam or harassment;
• Disrupt the service or consume resources unfairly.

We may limit, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

5. Free and Pro

• Free: basic editing, publishing, and export; public pages may show the Chupin footer; resume count, AI import quotas, and other limits apply.
• Pro: entitlements described on the pricing page and at checkout (such as custom subdomain, remove branding, more resumes, higher AI import quotas) while your plan is valid.
• When Pro ends or a subscription is cancelled, paid entitlements are withdrawn per product rules; custom names may keep a grace window as shown in-product.

6. Payments and refunds

Paid plans are processed by a third-party provider (currently Dodo Payments), which may act as Merchant of Record for receipts and tax. Prices, intervals, and methods are shown at checkout.

• Card subscriptions may renew automatically until cancelled through the provider or product flow.
• WeChat and other prepaid purchases grant access for the purchased period and generally do not auto-renew.

Refunds follow the payment provider’s policy and applicable law. Contact support@chupin.site first and we will help escalate. When a refund or lost dispute is confirmed, the related Pro entitlements end immediately.

7. Disclaimer

The service is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of your content and for career outcomes; we do not guarantee job offers.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability for claims arising from the service will not exceed the amounts you paid us for the service in the twelve (12) months before the claim (or zero if you are on Free).

9. Termination

You may stop using the service and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate the service for violations, prolonged inactivity, legal requirements, or shutdown, with reasonable notice when practical.

10. Changes

We may update these terms or the product. Material changes will be posted on the site. Continued use means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable where the operator of the service is established, excluding conflict-of-law rules. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
