Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 17, 2026 · Applies to chupin.site
Chupin (“we”, “us”) operates chupin.site. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the service, you acknowledge this policy.
1. Information we collect
- Account data: email address; if you sign in with GitHub, your public GitHub identifiers and display name.
- Content you submit: name, contacts, experience, work items, metrics, a photo if you upload one, and other text or links you enter into your page.
- Billing data: subscription and payment status, period, and customer/subscription IDs. Card or WeChat Pay details are handled by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers or payment secrets.
- Technical data: session cookies and limited access logs (such as IP, time, User-Agent) for security and troubleshooting.
- Send-to-email records: when you use Send to email, we store the recipient address, time, and page, to prevent abuse.
- Site analytics: Cloudflare Web Analytics on the marketing site and editor (page views, referrer, country/region, device). It does not use advertising cookies and is not used for cross-site advertising.
2. How we use information
- To provide editing, preview, publishing, PDF export, send-to-email, and account features;
- To process sign-in, subscriptions, renewals, and entitlements;
- To send necessary account or billing notices (such as verification codes);
- When you use Send to email, to deliver the live page link and PDF to the address you specify;
- To prevent abuse, fraud, and security incidents;
- To comply with law when required.
We do not sell your personal information.
3. Published content
When you publish a page, it is publicly reachable on its subdomain (for example name.chupin.site). Anyone with the link can view it. Do not publish information you do not want to be public.
4. Service providers
We use processors only as needed to run the product:
- Supabase — authentication and database;
- Cloudflare — hosting, edge compute, PDF rendering, and Web Analytics (page views);
- Dodo Payments — checkout, subscriptions, and related tax handling (they may act as Merchant of Record);
- Resend — sign-in mail, and resume emails you choose to send (link and PDF);
- AI model providers (such as OpenRouter and DeepSeek, reached via Cloudflare AI Gateway) — when you use AI import, resume text you upload or paste is sent to those providers to generate a draft. Do not submit sensitive information you do not want a processor to handle.
These providers process data under their own policies, limited to delivering their services to us.
5. Cookies and sessions
We use necessary cookies/sessions to keep you signed in and remember preferences such as language and the active page. Blocking them may prevent login or editing. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not rely on advertising cookies.
6. Retention
We keep account and content data while you use the service. You may stop using the service or request deletion; we will delete or anonymize personal data within a reasonable time unless law requires longer retention (for example billing records). Published pages remain reachable until you unpublish or delete them.
7. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, or deletion of personal data, or an export of content you submitted. Contact us below. We may need to verify your identity first.
8. Children
The service is intended for adults who can enter into a contract. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal data.
9. International transfers
Infrastructure may be located outside your country. By using the service, you understand information may be processed in those regions.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted on the site or emailed when appropriate. Continued use means you accept the updated policy.
